About University of New Brunswick

Campus

Across our two campuses in Fredericton and Saint John, we host more than 1,500 graduate students from a wide array of countries which lends an additional exciting cultural diversity to our UNB community.

UNB is focused on teaching excellence, world-class research and helping students to achieve their academic goals, making it a great place for students to learn and broaden their skills. With campuses in Fredericton and Saint John, you’ll find a welcoming community with lots to do.

Professors

Professors will guide your learning every step of the way. They are accessible and get students involved in innovative research to introduce new ideas and new ways of thinking. UNB conducts approximately 75 per cent of all university research in the province.

Class sizes

At UNB you are more than a number, we are ranked among the top comprehensive universities in Canada in the category of faculty-student ratio by Maclean’s magazine. Our small class sizes and low student-to-professor ratio mean professors get to know their students by name.

Co-op

Co-operative education offered by UNB provides students the opportunity to take the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom and apply them to the work place.

Study abroad

Why wait until you graduate to see the world? Through the student abroad program you can live and learn abroad.

Volunteer with international organizations, take courses or conduct research through one of our 89 partner universities in 36 countries.
